Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma announces Change of Directors

Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Osaka, Japan; President: Masayo Tada) announced today that it appointed a candidate for new member of the Board of Directors who will take office as of June 19, 2014 subject to the approval at its general shareholders' meeting scheduled for the same date.

1.　New Member of the Board of Directors

Hiroshi Sato (Dr. Eng.) (currently Chairman of the Board and Representative Director of Kobe Steel, Ltd.), to take office as Outside Director.

2.　Retiring Member of the Board of Directors

Tetsuya Oida (currently Member, Board of Directors)
