Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Contributes to the Relief Efforts for the Heavy Rain Event of July 2018 in Japan

Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Osaka, Japan; Representative Director, President and CEO: Hiroshi Nomura hereinafter called "Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma") expresses its deepest sympathy for victims of the Heavy Rain Event of July 2018, and our thoughts are with those personally affected by the tragedy.

Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma announced today that the Company will make a donation of JPY 10 million through the Central Community Chest of Japan to aid relief efforts for victims of the Heavy Rain Event.

In addition, our subsidiaries, DSP GOKYO FOOD & CHEMICAL Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Tetsuya Oida) and DS Pharma Animal Health Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Takeshi Nakajima) will make a donation of JPY 1 million each,
