Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Contributes to the 2018 Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake Relief Efforts in Japan

Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Osaka, Japan; Representative Director, President and CEO: Hiroshi Nomura hereinafter called "Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma") expresses its deepest sympathy for victims of the earthquake with an epicenter in Hokkaido Eastern Iburi on September 6 2018, and our thoughts are with those personally affected by the tragedy.

Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma announced today that the Company will make a donation of JPY 5 million through the Community Chest of Hokkaido to aid relief efforts for victims of the earthquake.

In addition, our subsidiaries, DSP GOKYO FOOD & CHEMICAL Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Tetsuya Oida) and DS Pharma Animal Health Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Takeshi Nakajima) will make a donation of JPY 500 thousand each.
