Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Contributes to Kumamoto Earthquake Relief Efforts in Japan
Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Masayo Tada; hereinafter called "Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma") expresses its deepest sympathy for victims of the Kumamoto earthquake on April 14 2016 and the subsequent earthquake activities, and our thoughts are with those personally affected by the tragedy.
Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma announced today that the Company will make a donation of JPY 10 million through the Kumamoto Prefecture to aid relief efforts for victims of the earthquake.
In addition, our subsidiaries, DSP GOKYO FOOD & CHEMICAL Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Tetsuya Oida) and DS Pharma Animal Health Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka, Japan; President: Takeshi Nakajima) will make a donation of JPY 1 million each, and Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Mass, U.S.; President: Nobuhiko Tamura) will make a donation of U.S.$ 10 thousand.
