Sumitomo Pharma Announces Change in Executive Officer

Sumitomo Pharma Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Osaka, Japan; Representative Director, President and CEO: Toru Kimura) today announced that the following change in Executive Officer, effective September 30, 2024 because Adele Gulfo will depart as CEO of Biopharma Commercial Unit of its U.S. subsidiary, Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. (“SMPA”), effective September 30.

Departing Executive Officer (effective September 30, 2024) Adele Gulfo (currently Executive Officer, Sumitomo Pharma Co., Ltd. and CEO of Biopharma Commercial Unit, SMPA)

SMPA announced on September 23, 2024 (local time) that Kenton Stewart (currently Senior Vice President, Head of Sales and Market Access, SMPA) is promoted to Chief Commercial Officer effective October 1, following Adele Gulfo’s departure.
