Sumitomo Pharma Announces Organizational Realignments and Personnel Changes

Sumitomo Pharma Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Osaka, Japan; Representative Director, President and CEO: Toru Kimura) today announced the following organizational realignments and personnel changes, effective October 1, 2025.

1. Organizational Realignments (effective October 1, 2025)

Sales & Marketing (Division)

To maximize product value through effective allocation of sales resources and utilization of the sales infrastructure and relationships, therapeutic-area-based organizational structures will be established.

Accordingly, the Hokkaido-Tohoku Branch, Kanto-Koshinetsu Branch, Shutoken Branch, Tokai-Hokuriku Branch, Kansai Branch, Chugoku-Shikoku Branch, and Kyushu Branch will be dissolved, and their functions will be transferred to newly established therapeutic-area-based departments: CNS Sales Department Ⅰ, CNS Sales Department Ⅱ, East Region Sales Department, Capital Region Sales Department, Central Region Sales Department, Kansai Region Sales Department, and West Region Sales Department.
